The Computer and Informatics Engineering Department (Program Studi Keahlian Teknik Komputer dan Informatika) was previously called Information and Communications Technology Department (Bidang Studi Keahlian Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) until the Directorate General of The Elementary and Higher Education Management of The National Education Department issued a letter numbered 251/C/KEP/MN/2008 about "Skills Spectrum of The Vocational Highschool Education" dated on August 22nd 2008. This department currently consists of all four Skill Competence available in the Spectrum, they are :

• Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (Software Engineering)
• Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (Computer and Network Engineering)
• Multimedia (Multimedia)
• Animasi (Animation)
